Refund onto bank account - expired card?

Hi all,

I bought something online from top shop but was unable to collect in time (long story). It's been sent back for a refund. All fine but during this time the debit card I used to pay had expired!

I now have a new card. Will I be refunds ok does anyone know? 🤔 thanks!

It should be fine. I have had this before and it refunded just fine.

It should work but I would ring the bank and check.

I had this it’s a credit card and they advised that they normally route the refund onto the account even if the card itself doesn’t exist anymore.

It will go back on no problem
