Find ourselves in Christchurch for a couple of days. I will have DD ages 9 to entertain and we don’t know the area at all. Any suggestions of what we can do?

She loves gymnastics and dance. Any chance of some kind of camp or workshop she can attend?
Other suggestions gratefully received as well - we’re open to most things!

Bournemouth Pavilion has a dance show tonight (flashing lights.) has a bus stop outside,
If drive into Bmth in school hols or an evening can take an hour to find & walk from a parking space

Poole has a free public light festival from tonight , parking easier but still difficult .Festival has a cheery feel with short light "movies" on the old buildings etc . Many intallations are small. Recommend St Jame"s Church square for atmosphere -

The lovely Poole Museum is usually open for thise evenings, even if the light thing is underwhelming

There’s a big soft play in Christchurch called Monkey Madness.
If you’re going into Bournemouth then there’s the Oceanarium on the seafront and the games arcades on the pier. In Bournemouth town Centre there’s a couple of VR gaming type places, or head to Oasis fun which has indoor crazy golf and bowling. There’s also a newly opened indoor skate park but you do need to bring your own scooter and helmet.

Hope that helps.
