Please help motivate me to look for a new job

I really need to look for a new job.

Every time I look for a job it's infuriating. So much bull to deal with - time wasting agencies, BS HR stuff, things falling through, people asking you unreasonable questions, and endless other nonsense to deal with. I just don't have the energy to deal with such levels of rubbish. It makes me so upset.

It's also not helped by the fact that I seem to know a few people who are the sorts of people who just walk into jobs easily, so they never understand just how hard it is for the rest of us.

But I really need to move, and the only way to find a job is to look for one.

Please help me feel motivated and ready to wade through all the rubbish to find the needle in the haystack.

It's so difficult to get started.

I hope you can get motivated. I'm a few steps behind you and haven't even motivated to update my CV!

It’s super difficult. The only thing I think you can do is break it down into chunks & reward yourself after achieving each (assuming the thought of a new job isn’t enough! It isn’t for me). Good luck & one step at a time

I feel your pain been through it a few times myself .
These people that you know they don't just walk into a job they spend time getting cv ready , job hunting then preparing for a interview. It's just they don't walk around talking about because you don't until you've found a new job . I remember when I got a new job and people would say I didn't even know you were looking, well why would I say. I know a friend who's been in the same job for years and she's like how do you do it ? .
The answer
get CV looking great get tips online .
Research jobs , know what you want commute, salary etc .
Prepare to go for interviews , shine be confident etc . If you don't get the job move on to the next and keep going .
You need to be positive show employers that you are amazing .
It's exciting too think of the new opportunity's, new colleagues you will meet .
