We’re all bored. Any ideas to snap us out of it?

Me, DS1 (14), DS2 (12). Too much screen time, crappy weather, all a bit meh. DS2 suggested cinema, but that’s just screen time somewhere else. I told them they’ve got google too & can research fun things to do, suggested they come up with a plan. Basically, I’m fed up of being a grown-up today & want someone else to do the adulting for me.

We’re going to the zoo tomorrow! I was going to force them but they’re surprisingly ok with it!
Any interesting museums near you? Bowling?

We are within striking distance of a zoo. I hadn’t thought of that and DS1 loves red pandas.

With bowling I worry that we’ll continue to bicker, as we are currently.

Dd1 (14)was bored and being a colossal teenagery pain about it so she has happily now gone for a sleepover at a friends. Dd2 (12) happy to laze about in her pyjamas and I feel rough as anything with a chesty cough so I'm joining her.
Think we are going to binge watch something on netflix.
Will have to think of something to do tomorrow though. Will probably go into London and have a mooch down the King's road or something. They don't want to see any of the exhibtions that are on at the minute or anything that's on at the pictures, which is annoying as there are loads of things I fancy seeing.

We’ve finally cleared a backlog of family celebration cake so need to give baking a rest, lest our arses expand any further.

Board game is a possibility, though DS2 is in raging hormonal teen mode, so major strops a possibility.

Increasingly, it’s the kiddy entertainment that’s looking good.
