I'm due to go back to work between July and August. I'm going back to a completely different role with what I'd hope would include a different salary. Currently I'm earning just above MW but my skills stretch far beyond that. I just had a job interview in French. The salary isn't great, but still substantially better (£25k) . My baby is still small so wouldn't take it, but could I use this as leverage for said pay rise when the time comes? I know if I don't ask I don't get, but this job interview experience made me think I should try to find a different job while on ML.
