Anyone had a nose job and if so how did it go?

My SIL had it done about 25 years ago, she said she had no pain, the worst part was trying to sleep at night as she was all blocked up. She was told if she didn’t like it that he would do it again but she was happy. She wished she had done it sooner but didn’t have the money.

I hate my nose. Not big but looks wide in photos.

I've had surgery on my nose for a breathing problem. I had to sleep sitting up and because I could only breathe through my mouth I got very dry. A child's sippy cup came in really handy so I could have water without spilling. My nose was sore but not too painful. When they took the packing and stitches out it felt VERY odd. But the first nose-blow and then being able to breathe was amazing.

Watching as I'm desperate for rhinoplasty

I had a nose job after having it shattered by my ex. It wasn't sore at all. The only issue I had was I was allergic to the splint they put over your nose. I was supposed to wear it for a week, but lasted 24 hours.

I was supposed to get 2 more surgeries as it couldn't be totally fixed in one, but my insurance ran out. I would have done them though as it was fine.

Are you happy with it?
Would it be impolite to ask how much it was?

I had one about 25years ago. I think there are very few nerves in the nose so it doesn’t hurt much. The bruising took a few weeks to go. I remember my nose being numb and the final shape took about a year to settle down. A plus point was that for almost a year my sense of taste was poor which meant I lost weight. It changed my life.

I had this done on the nhs due to deviated septum which caused breathing problems.
