Staying in Premier Inn (printworks) overnight after a concert at MEN. Where to park?

Ideally, it would be in the premier inn, but tripadvisor says they have the grand total of 5 parking spaces. As we are travelling after work, I want to know where best to aim for to park. I know it's a couple of mins walk from the hotel to/from the arena so could park in the arena itself.

you can rent a parking space? there is one that is a 5 minute walk from the arena here if that works? x

There are a number of car parks around, I think Ducie Street is the nearest that isn't hideously expensive.
Otherwise, depending on where you're coming from, you could park and ride in on the tram.

It’s £10 for 24 hours at Victoria Station round the corner.

Coming on the motorway from North Wales.

Thanks for the suggestions. It's going to be a bit of a rush to pick DD up after she finishes school (and I do) that day, so I appreciate being able to know exactly where to aim for to park before quickly checking into the hotel.

The Premier Inn has a carpark -£5 per night.
Not huge, and you can't pre-book. There's a QPark across the street too.

Boddingtons car park across the road from the MEN is about £3/4 all day.

The Printworks has a car park and you can pre book on the ncp website. they also do an evening rate which starts at 5/6pm and is about £4 for 12 hours

DrMadelineMaxwell · 17/02/2020 20:06

I need about 15 hours, overnight as we are arriving before the concert, then staying until breakfast the next day. 12 hours would be a push!

If you are getting off motorway at M60 junction 17 it's a straight run a couple of miles down Bury New Road to the car park next to MEN arena. It's called the Boddington car park costs 8.00 or 14.00 depending on how long you are stopping. There's no need to negotiate the manchester one waysystem at all if you use this car park

DrMadelineMaxwell · 17/02/2020 21:38

That's really good to know, thanks.

Bury New Road is the A56.

Concent cancelled after all that..
One disappointed dd as that was her birthday gift and she's been counting down the days since Sept.

Aww that's a shame. Can she go somewhere else instead? Or a different concert?

DrMadelineMaxwell · 20/02/2020 18:38

Hoping it will be rescheduled at the moment. She loves Lana Del Rey with a fiery passion and was so excited to go. She has known how many days to go every day since we gave her the tickets for her birthday.

And I'm hoping of it is rescheduled it's a day we can make.

Have a look at a map if you want Bury New Rd, the A56 also comes in from the south as Chester Rd
