Supermarket near Alton Towers

DH and DSD are staying at the hotel this week. Do any local residents know where the nearest supermarket is please? Google maps can't seem to find anything less than an hour away! A Tesco Express or similar would be adequate. Thank you.

There's a Londis in the village, I think, otherwise it's Stoke-on-Trent, or Cheadle.

The nearest supermarkets are a small Morrisons and ASDA in Cheadle about 5 miles away. A larger Tesco and Lidl are in Uttoxeter about 7 miles away or Marks and Spencer Simply Food, Sainsbury, Waitrose and Co-Operative along with a variety of smaller shops in Ashbourne about 9 miles away.

uttoxeter has a big tesco, lidl and waitrose.

Leek (twenty mins away) has a big Sainsburys and Morrisons, Aldi, Lidl and a small Asda. Nice town for a wander and a coffee if they fancy a break from Alton Towers madness!
