Make up colurs advice needed - I haven't a clue

Can anyone suggest eye makeup and lipstick colours for a (very) late 40s mum with greying hair and fair skin?
I've never worn much make up before but am beginning to look pale and tired and need help!

What colour are your eyes? Search eyeshadow for "brown/blue/green" eyes & you'll get the best colours to use to make your eyes "pop". You can't go wrong with a nude lip but you can get grown or pink toned nudes. Your best bet is probably to go to a makeup counter somewhere & get them to do a makeover & get their suggestions for makeup. You usually pay for a makeover but the cost can be redeemed against their products if you make a purchase.

Have a look at some you tube tutorials, might help with the application. Green eyes look lovely with plums/pinks/purples & gold/brown. I have green eyes & often wear just some light taupe brown eyeshadow with plum/purple eyeliner. Simple but effective. Even if you don't want a makeover, go to a counter to get the right colour foundation matched.
