Dulux frosted steel. Looks lilac in some lights.

Swifey40 · 17/02/2020 10:01

Elephants breath from f&b, and get it colour matched.

PippinStar · 17/02/2020 10:35

Crown soft steel

Another vote for elephants breath

Definitely elephants breath. Although some paints look different in different lights so if it’s something specific you’re looking for then I think testers on the wall you’re looking to paint worth it. Then you have a mini pot for touch ups!

Chilver · 17/02/2020 10:53

Starlight from Wilkinsons (surprisingly good paint according to our builder) - looks light grey but came out a lovely soft lilac on our bedroom walls.

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 17/02/2020 10:55

Dulux mellow mocha

missanony · 17/02/2020 13:42

Thank you - off to buy some more testers!

Where do you get f&b colourmatched?

Mellow mocha looks promising - nice & warm!

Dove Grey by Laura Ashley. Get it colour matched at B&Q or Wickes. Lovely grey with pinky undertone.

grincheux · 17/02/2020 13:49

Dulux Cobweb and Delicate Cobweb, both lilac-greys.

BringMeTea · 17/02/2020 13:49

Dove Tale by Farrow and Ball. Get a Johnstone's colour match.

MrsCharlesBrandon · 17/02/2020 13:50

We have starlight from Wilko too, beautiful pinky grey colour and very good quality paint.

StealthLemonade · 17/02/2020 13:51

Another vote for elephants breath. Google colour matches, there is a website which is very good but IMO it's so worth the extra as you are paying for the quality and pigment, not the colour with f&b

BellaBellaBelle · 17/02/2020 14:09

Peignoir f&b is a very pale pink/grey.

DrunkenUnicorn · 17/02/2020 14:25

We have peignoir from f and b in our living room. I love it. Pinky grey not lilac.

QforCucumber · 17/02/2020 14:29

Dulux Pebble Shore

Minai · 17/02/2020 14:50

Dulux feather flock

MummySharn · 17/02/2020 14:52

Starlight from wilko

Zampa · 17/02/2020 14:53

Dulux Perfectly Taupe is v similar to F&B Elephant's Breath. Also try F&B Cornforth White.

YourVagesty · 17/02/2020 14:53

Dulux Goose Down would work. I just used it in my study and it looks lilac-y

missanony · 17/02/2020 22:36

Wilko is the front runner so far. Will see how it dries in the morning.

Thank you Smile

Can you post a pic op? I'd be really interested to see it

Christmastree43 · 23/02/2020 08:06

B&Q colour match F&B or Laura Ashley (or anything you want), you can then buy a sample pot for about £3 which I would recommend (don't go straight for the big tin). I got a great Laura Ashley colour match recently, Soft Truffle I think it was (nothing like what you asked for but just for info).
