How do I get my tv to understand that I'm paying amazon sub?

I've been paying amazon prime, as ive had liads of things to order so wanted the delivery. As you can probably tell, I'm.not very tech savvy......

I have a firestick, which I use to watch Netflix etc. The anazon prime video 'app's is there, but the menu isn't at the top. So I can't search for anything, just click on the suggested programs.

Can anyone help me out? Please?

I signed up to prime with my phone, I have a kindle that seems to know I've done it. Not sure what the tv is playing at.

You need to enter your Amazon Prime account details into the amazon prime tv app from what I can remember. I think you have to go into settings. It does ask for quite a lot of personal information however it should connect up with your Amazon email address and password.

Thanks, that's what I thought but can't seem to find out where to do it. I've managed with other apps/channels.

Have you signed in on your TV?

@MarthasGinYard I'm not sure the, although when I looked at my kindle it said my tv was a registered device.

There's no search option when I click on the prime video app. It bring a up the possible things I might want to watch, but no option to type in to search. No menu at the top

I registered on the Prime website and got a code to enter on my tv so the tv was paired with my Prime account.
