Help me with 3 year old's wedding outfit

I am going to a wedding with my daughter for the first time and I've realised I don't really know how to dress her "up" - I'm a bit clueless. She wears leggings and tops day to day and sometimes a dress but nothing fancy!

I have bought her a nice, teal dress in a shiny, soft material that's a bit like a cross between satin and taffeta, I think (in that almost iridescent kind of way).

I have a pair of navy leather Mary Jane type shoes with an embroidered design on that I might put her in to save buying a pair, would that be ok or is there something else you'd suggest? It's not a massive cost issue as I'd buy second hand anyway so if you think it won't go, please tell me!

Then I'm struggling with legwear. In googling, I saw some people mention socks with dresses for little ones - I was going to buy tights but then realised I only ever buy/see thick, woolly types for her and that would be strange with a fancy dress. So can you get thin tights for kids? And what colour would you choose?

I know it's all a bit daft but I'm rubbish with these things and family from further afield will be meeting her for the first time, taking lots of photos, etc. Thanks!

People seem to put little girls in white wooly tights with party dresses, would that work? Or knee socks?

I’d just go white thick tights. White cardigan of the dress is short sleeved.

When’s the wedding? If it’s summer she won’t need tights just ankle socks.

Ok, thanks, I have thick white tights already, so that's fine. I just thought thick ones might be a no no with this kind of dress like they are on adults!

It's in a few weeks so I would prefer tights on her anyway!
