13 yr old son- at the end of my tether

Basically this.
My 13 yr old son has always been thoughtless in his actions but today he has exceeded himself.
He had put board pins in his mouth and a bag over his head as a joke while I was sitting upstairs and y 8 year old daughter came upstairs to tell me. I am exhausted, furious and just tired.
He makes up stories of holidays that have never happened or points at pictures of other children with a passing resemblence to say this is him. I dont know how to get past this anymore- any advice greatly appreciated.

Sounds like he's desperate for attention? How long have you been worried about him?

He has been making up stories for a while now, over 2/3 yrs. He has stolen significant amounts of money from my husbands wallet, He has been bullied in primary school and I think this affected his confidence quite alot. His secondary school has been better as he is in a new borough.
He was part of a tae kwondo class for 2 yrs but stopped as he lost interest. I am so mentally tired.

I really feel for you 😞 Does he have friends he hangs out with?
