What’s giving you the rage today ?!! ( lighthearted)

The weather scuppered my day out plans yesterday .
Tesco is going downhill, minimising their lines of stock so only expensive versions seem available .
The dogs keep bringing wet feet into the house.
I work full time with 100s of people a day and when am home then Dh/ds there and I’d love a day of solitude.
Did I mention the weather!
My s.a.d has reached its peak, pisses me off that I should be used to it now, like it makes me feel the rage today .... but I can’t shake it.
I should be more grateful for what I have and do but can’t feel it at present.

I think that’s it but sure there’s more .... what’s giving you the rage today

My annoying neighbours I thought had moved but they are back. Roll on the actual moving date lol.

Solongtoshort · 16/02/2020 13:21

People who can’t indicate properly.

People who enter a one way car park the wrong way.

My 7yo who hasn’t stopped talking since 7.35am.........lm just kidding he stopped talking to eat. Then began again.

5LeafClover · 16/02/2020 13:25

The fact that I clicked to open a different thread and got this one instead. Although as it turns out, it's very appropriate! Hope you day gets better OP.

FireUnderpants · 16/02/2020 13:27

I'm shattered after being up all night with a poorly DS, then at an out of hours app early morning two towns away. DS isn't complaining, has had his antibiotics and painkillers and is enjoying his quiet xboxing afternoon.

DH has a toothache and is moping around looking for sympathy. It's all very dramatic. It's a shame he didn't try to get an appointment when he said it wasn't right last week. The fact that he has cancelled his last 4 dental appointments apparently has nothing to do with his problem though. Nor does the fact that he eats a shocking amount of sugar.

MangoM · 16/02/2020 13:38

It really winds me up when mil cooks way too much food and then expects us to take the leftovers, claiming that she doesn't like said item. Why bother cooking something that you yourself won't eat? Drives me mad!

She's just tried to give us two-three days worth of a meal we said we didn't want in the first place ... grrr

glenhaggis · 16/02/2020 13:45

My new slow cooker won't arrive in time to use it tonight. I want it NOW.

Bezalelle · 16/02/2020 13:48

The fact that I'm just finishing the first trimester and STILL feeling like a nauseous, tired wreck. Of course I'm delighted and grateful to be pregnant, but I have felt like this since the start of December. Urghhhhh!

TannatTart · 16/02/2020 13:53

I have two viewing of my house today, so I have to go out, but I’m a bit hungover and would prefer to lounge in front of the tv

Whynosnowyet · 16/02/2020 13:58

Selling an item and the viewer is an hour late already...
Sorting transport apparently.. Half an hour after the scheduled time they should be here..

MrsExpo · 16/02/2020 14:10

The fact that the roof of my recently built small extension on the back of the kitchen, seems to have sprung a Storm Dennis leak. It's now dripping quietly into a bucket until I can get hold of the builder to (hopefully) come round and find out what the problem is. (And now the ceiling will need repairing and re-painting too ..... GRRR!!)

BillywigSting · 16/02/2020 14:16

Ds6 has been hounding me all day to play sodding pokemon cards with him when I'm trying to get the house in some sort of order for next week so it's not a total bomb site by Friday.

The top I wanted to wear today is still wet because dp put it on the maiden instead of a radiator.

I'm freezing but dp and ds are not so I'm hiding under a blanket with a cold nose.

SecretWitch · 16/02/2020 14:17

We came home from a short break yesterday. I have unpacked nearly everything. Suitcases belonging to husband and child are smack on the living room floor. The cats are now lounging on them. I have asked repeatedly for them to be at least moved out of my tripping zone. I know that come tomorrow I will be be doing the moving and unpacking as I can’t tolerate the clutter. I am pissed.

lauryloo · 16/02/2020 14:24

everything!

feel like i am coming down with a cold, my house is a mess, i am 28 weeks pregnant and i just feel meh

but tomorrow is a new day

Spudlet · 16/02/2020 14:28

People who stand at the supermarket shelves musing for fucking ages, with their trolleys swung out diagonally behind them in order to block the maximum amount of shelf and aisle space, I presume. Just choose a fucking ready-meal, Doris. Angry

LadyLovelyLockz · 16/02/2020 14:32

My Asos delivery was all crap and the boots I ordered on Monday haven't arrived yet even though the shoes I ordered at the same time from the same company arrived on Wed.

The alternative boots I ordered arrived today and are a perfect fit on one foot but too small on the other.

TellySavalashairbrush · 16/02/2020 14:33

More sodding garden fence panels collapsing in the storm.

The idiot in my gym class who insisted on having a no entry zone anywhere near him in a packed class, so some of us were squashed. The only male in a class of 20 women- our arses and thighs are far bigger than his, yet he’s the one demanding space!!

The couple behind me in M&S who were parenting loudly and oblivious to how irritating the rest of us were finding them. ‘Do you want to ride on the conveyor belt Ollie?’ Yes, place your child and his muddy feet all over a surface where shoppers have to place food items 😡😡

stephanielittl7 · 16/02/2020 14:35

This chest infection can bloody do one after a week on antibiotics that have done fuck all! I just want to be able to sleep without spending most of the night coughing my lungs up and peeing every time I do Will be back at doctors in morning if I can get an appointment.

BlueHarry · 16/02/2020 14:36

I was excited because I just my first job after years of being a sahm. It's NMW and my mum rang me today to tell me it's not good enough. I am now moping around wondering if I'm wasting my life and whether I'll ever do more than this, and if I want to, and if I am capable of more if I do want more and what's the point of it all. I've gone from feeling happy and positive and proud of myself to pretty much an existential crisis all because of a few words she said on the phone.

SecretWitch · 16/02/2020 14:56

@BlueHarry, please don’t allow your mum to ruin the excitement for you. Fortunately, she is not the one doing the job so she needn’t worry!
I’m sending my congratulations and good wishes to you on this exciting new position for you💐

I've got the kids today they were supposed to be with there dad but despite knowing about the storm and being aware that he needed to make arrangements other than being outdoors he didnt bother the town he takes them too is flooded the forest he takes them too is closed and has been since yesterday but he made no other arrangements it was expected but bloody irritating

Ohffs66 · 16/02/2020 15:20

I have PMT. EVERYTHING is giving me the rage. I'm currently in bed pretending to be having a nap so I can stop inflicting myself on poor DH (and the fact that he is daring to breathe, move and speak bless him) . Unfortunately I have no way to stop inflicting myself on myself!

Bargebill19 · 16/02/2020 15:24

On week four of the latest cold and feeling crap. Should be doing work stuff at home and just want to go to bed. Storm Dennis can also go away - no sleep due to the sheer noise of the wind. Annoyed with myself because I know that next week is going to be hectic yet can’t find the energy to the prep work. (Won’t get paid for doing it unless at work, but don’t have enough time in my schedule to do it at work🙁)

Somanysocks · 16/02/2020 15:51

My neighbours fence blew out last night and hit my house damaging the corner. It was newly rendered and painted. Grrr!!

WateryFowls · 16/02/2020 16:20

Found out that DH has told his parents something about my health which I haven't told anyone else, not even my parents. He knew I didn't want people to know and swore he would keep it to himself. He didn't and he lied about it.

On a more lighthearted note, I'm pissed off because I haven't got any Maltesers and I really really want some!
