If you have a ‘gallery wall’ what’s on your other walls?

I’ve ordered some picture shelves for the back wall of the living room to go above the sofa. The room is decorated with neutrals and is small but cosy with not much stuff in it. Once I’ve got the rails up and pictures on I have no clue what to put on the rest of the walls. There’s a fireplace and I have candles and a mirror on the mantel.

If you have a gallery type wall have you got anything on the other walls. As the room is small I don’t want to overwhelm it but I also want it to look cosy. I’ve looked on Pinterest and YouTube but can’t seem to put a search in to find ideas for all the walls in a room. TIA

We have one gallery wall, then one large painting by DH's friend on one wall, a small painting by DH in one alcove, a mirror above the fireplace and two A4 pictures above one another in the other alcove. However, our living room is large and it looked weird without anything on the other walls

Thanks Barbed. I guess I’m going to have to wait and see if it looks odd once I’ve got the rails up and go from there.
