Does anyone know how to find out which post offices are open on a Sunday,

short of looking up all local(ish) post offices branch by branch?

I wasn't sure any were, so I just googled UK post offices open on Sundays and the first result was the three nearest to my location with opening hours. Might be worth a try.

Post offices which are based within other stores are your best bet. So for example, our nearest post office is in our local Asda so is open 7 days a week. The post office that is stand alone which is 0.1 miles away is only open Mon-Fri, 9-5.

The silly thing is the Post Office websites advertises Sunday opening but then doesn’t give you the option to search for it!

Use this link , put your area in and which service you want and it will tell you where your nearest ones are then click on each one to see its opening times , it means you do have to look up all your nearby ones but it only takes a few seconds for each one

Yes, I did that, @Al, and spent 20 minutes of my life getting precisely nowhere!!

Still, google tells me there is a 24/7 one in a convenience store - think it will be quicker to go there than spend any more time on the post office website !

ThNks, all - I popped into the 24/7 Conenience Store and dropped off my parcels this morning. (And a lot more courteous and friendly than the surly staff at my local post office)
