Marks and Spencer's chocolate tea cakes are also wonderful - but none of the weird flavours, except perhaps salted caramel, yum!

Sonichu · 15/02/2020 16:48

Caramel logs are the mutt's nuts.

haba · 15/02/2020 16:49

I love them.... but like almost all other biscuits they have palm oil in now, so I don't eat them.
It's done wonders for my waistline!

No no no no NO OP!

a) it’s not a biscuit

b) there are loads of better options! Foxes Crunch Creams, Fruit Club Biscuits, those chunky chocolate M&S ones with the hole in the middle...

It’s not even top 10

Even Jammy Dodgers and Crinkle Crunch Creams are far superior!

CormoranStrike · 15/02/2020 18:12

They are not biscuits. They are sweets with a tiny sliver of biscuit probably included for legal reason

What legal reason would there be for a sweetie to need to be classified as a biscuit?

Do you mean a tax reason?

Borders dark or milk chocolate gingers, absolutely divine. Dunked in hot tea so the chocolate just starts to melt and accentuates the .

Blubbergalore · 15/02/2020 18:19

*accentuates the gingeryness

Shesellsseashellsontheseashore · 15/02/2020 18:55

Chocolate digestives followed by custard creams.

SpottyShoeBow · 15/02/2020 19:03

It's the crack cocaine of the biscuit world.

Interesting fact (maybe) : At work I once served the grandson of the lady who invented the Tunnocks caramel log. He told me all about it after I complimented him on his Tunnocks tea cake t shirt. Interesting story.

Serin · 15/02/2020 19:04

Borders strawberry shortbread or Borders chocolate fingers are the best.
Kit kat gets runner up.

I was at a conference recently and was pleasantly surprised. Many of the delegates were from abroad and weren’t keen so ended up giving them to me (they weren’t convinced when I told them they are a delicacy!).

I personally don’t think they are biscuits. But this might clarify

Damn straight it is.

WildRosie · 15/02/2020 20:17

I've never had Tunnock's teacakes but I was never keen on Jacob's marshmallows, which were much the same thing. However, I am rather partial to Golden Crinkle Crunch, Chocolate Hobnobs, Lotus Biscoff (especially the Belgian chocolate variety) and some of the Belvita breakfast biscuits.

snappycamper · 15/02/2020 20:19

It's not even the best tunnocks biscuit.
Caramel wafer all the way.

FickleTickle · 15/02/2020 20:20

Cadburys purple Snack is the best!

Mountian · 15/02/2020 20:44

Yes, they are the bees knees. They are my absolute favourite.

Having said that, all cakes, biscuits and chocolate bars are welcome in this house, we don't care, and we've always got the kettle on! Grin

SpottyShoeBow · 15/02/2020 20:44

Jacobs marshmallows are NOTHING like Tunnocks tea cakes. Not even remotely!

SpottyShoeBow · 15/02/2020 20:45

Jacobs marshmallows are chewy.. Teacakes melt in your mouth.

JellyfishandShells · 15/02/2020 20:46

Just been introduced to Digestive Caramels - not too gooey, subtle treat . Perfect .

katy1213 · 15/02/2020 20:47

They have the best shiny paper; like an Art Deco sunray.

Groovee · 15/02/2020 20:48

They are a Tunnocks Teacake. An entity of its own.

Lolimax · 15/02/2020 20:50

You're all wrong. Chocolate moo cow biscuits are the best ever!! AKA chocolate malted milks.

Oh yes, this
