If you're single, did you do anything nice for yourself on V-Day?

I did, I went to Hotel Chocolat and bought myself some nice chocolates, and I've ordered some CDs and Pusheen plushies I've wanted for ages, they'll take a while to get here but I don't mind.

I've only had V-Day presents once and that was 13 years ago, my ex only did it once, and also because I was somewhat fed up with people at work talking about what they were doing I decided to treat myself to some nice things.

How lovely! Enjoy the chocolates. I think it's a nice way to treat yourself.

I got some lovely food. Duck and pancakes for lunch and a tasty steak for my tea!

Had an early night watching random Youtube after a nice bowl of Paella and long soak in the bath Bliss

I went for a back and shoulder massage. But I'm in lots of pain and it just happened to be V day

I did too - I ordered in a calzone and tiramisu from pizza express and chilled with my band of merry men pets .

I'd forgotten all about it till I switched on the radio in the afternoon and the news was talking about Poundland having sold 40,000 £1 engagement rings and the rush to buy for Valentines gifts.
Glad I'm single.

I'm glad it's not just me! The chocolates were very nice (I've still got loads left) and tonight I'm imbibing wine. I've been single for nearly a year and a half (after being with my ex for 12 years) and life is good (ish.) I do have a 'gentleman caller' but he doesn't hang around, so I share my bed with a huge stuffed unicorn called Shaun, who is good for cuddles.
