Anyone on here breastfeed (multiple children) for 5 years plus. How is your body now?

I fed each of my three babies for 12-14 months, and there are 2 years between each. So I was either pregnant or breastfeeding for 6 years.
Now my youngest is 2.
I used to be size 8 with 32D boobs. Now I am size 10 with 34B, saggy boobs. I am wondering if they will ever regain shape? I feel so different now. I finished breastfeeding about 10 months ago, and hoped they would look better by now Hmm.
Maybe I just need to accept my changed body.

Yup. I BF for around 11 years in total over 4 children. My overall size hasn’t changed much as I’m still a massive G or GG cup but the back size changes in relation to my weight. Droopy wise they’re pretty unchanged by feeding. Sensitivity has improved on a good way post BFing which has been an unexpected but appreciated bonus!! 😉

I breastfed 3 children over a total of 8 years, including tandem feeding for one of those years. My boobs are bigger than they were but no saggier. My stomach hasn't fared quite so well after 3 pregnancies but it's not bad. By the time I'd finished breast feeding I was over 40 so I wouldn't expect perfection anyway, but I'm in as good shape as most women my age.

bf-ed my 2 for a total of 4.5 years.

I was size 6, A cup. I am now a rounder size 6, AA cup (dammit) with softer nipples. Not a huge difference.

I breastfed 2 babies for a total of 7 years but with a 7 year gap inbetween. My boobs seem bigger but not saggy and I'm mid 40s now so not bad for my age. My stomach on the other hand is quite wobbly, not loads of stretch marks just excess fat I think I'd never wear a bikini now

Poetryinaction · 14/02/2020 23:05

Hmmm, just me then! I'm hoping for some improvement!

Same weight and size as pre-pregnancy but my hips are wider so I don't fit my pre-pregnancy clothes the same. Boobs same size slightly shaggier, but not very much. Still breastfeeding DC2. Boobs are probably shaggier through age as much as anything. They are small (30f), got a bit bigger in early bfing, but only a cup size.

Elllicam · 15/02/2020 03:48

I’ve been breastfeeding for almost 6 years continuously over 3 children and I don’t notice a huge difference. They are bigger though.

Beseen19 · 15/02/2020 03:56

Seriously try boob or bust calculator online. Your bra size shouldn't be more than your dress size plus 20 so you will need to adjust your cup size. I'd guess you would be around a 30DD or E. After breastfeeding I was totally depressed with my now saggy boobs but getting them in a really supportive bra helped (admittedly not how I look naked!).

AdultHumanFemale · 15/02/2020 04:30

6 years of actual breastfeeding in total. Boobs look amazing three years on but my stomach (not related to BFing) is rather wobbly. My kids love squishing it.

I bf 2 dc for 5.5 years total.

Before pregnancy they were 12b. Pregnancy and breastfeeding gradually made them made grow to 14c. I should emphasis that all growth and change was very gradual, no big increases.

2 years post bf they are still 14 c. They didn’t shrink and the density is fairly firm. I’m happy with them.

My abdominals, however, I’m not happy with, so pregnancy has left it’s mark there.

Flutterbybowers · 15/02/2020 05:01

Those are au sizes, so converting to uk sizing I was 34b to 36c.

non-stop pg / brfding for ... 7 years?

Plus another 2 yrs with a slightly later child.

Dear Boobs were a bit less perky not after the 7 yrs but yes by time I finished brfding last child. I was almost 11 yrs older anyway & in my 40s by then, so of course things change. 61kg before 1st pg & 64 kg now (21 yrs later).

I dunno my "dress size", how funny! Doesn't it depend on manufacturer, anyway?

Breastfeed 3 children for ten years. Haven't fed in 5 and I'm 43.
Went from 34 b/c to 32 DD ( after proper fitting cup is similar size to c with smaller back and fits so much better). They still seem to be pretty much in the same place, any changes I'd put down to aging, rather than breastfeeding.

LabiaMinoraPissusFlapus · 15/02/2020 08:56

I breastfed continually for 12 years (4 children). When you breastfeed the fat reserves in your breasts decrease overtime. Mine looked very droopy when I finally finished feeding, and then improved in appearance over the next 18 months. I think the fat got replaced and they are back to my pre-feeding size now.

Poetryinaction · 15/02/2020 09:17

Thanks all. I wanted to know, if they did return to their fullness, how long did it take? I thought 10 months was long enough but maybe I need to be patient.
When I was breastfeeding I was 34E. Now there is not much breast tissue at all, so I'm sure the cup size is B at best.

I breastfed 3 DC, all of them about two years apart and BF’d for approx 2 years for all of them. Still BFing the youngest who is almost 3. Breast have pretty much gone back to normal size and shape but I was only ever average C cup though.

What I am REALLY struggling with is weight loss. I am about 3 stone over pre baby weight and it will just not go. I did the Fast800 for four weeks - so 800 cals a day and 16:8 fasting - and I lost two pounds 😩😩😩😩 Wondering if it’s related to BFIng. Historically I have never lost any weight until I stopped so hoping to finally wean DD2 off soon. But she’s the last baby so it’s not without being bittersweet.

Poetryinaction · 15/02/2020 09:56

My boobs were full while still breastfeeding. I want to know about people a year plus after breastfeeding. I seem to have stored fat easily elsewhere!

Cumulatively, I bf for over ten years (not quite that in terms of absolute time because there was some tandem feeding overlap). It's three births + increasing age that have changed my shape, not bf. I'm so flat-chested that there's little scope for change anyway, but my breasts look pretty much the same as they always did.
