Ok, so I’ll start by saying I’m slim and I don’t want to lose any weight. But I desperately want to tone up!
When I was still at school (so 15-17ish) I took a girls’ PE fitness course. At the time, I built muscle and got toned very easily - and I had a great bum, which I really miss!
I’m only in my 20s now, so I have faith in my toning abilities.
I tried some at-home workouts last year. I stuck to it for about a month, which is a record for me! I saw minuscule results, so eventually gave up. I think the thing is, I need proper weights to see a difference. I remember using a machine in the fitness room at school, where you push a weight with your feet, that works your glutes (no idea what it’s called). I need that!
Now, my problem is, I can’t afford a gym membership. If there were gyms where you could just pay as you go, I could maybe manage that every now and again. But they’re usually £20/month and upwards. 
Are there any cheap or makeshift gyms out there in leisure centres or anything like that? Or even cheap(ish) equipment I could get for at home that would help me see better results than without weights?
