Ikea- packet Swedish meatball sauce. Can you get it elsewhere?

You can make it at home by thickening chicken stock and adding cream.

Or I would have thought that putting a bit of cream in your favourite chicken instant gravy would make a passable substitute.

Google Ikea cream sauce recipe, you'll find loads on there.

Also Amazon sell it, but it's quite pricey.

If you cannot get to an Ikea and want the sauce look up on Facebook " Monster flat pack " they deal in Ikea furniture and may be able to buy some on a trip there - worth asking

A Swedish friend made it with a beef oxo, cream and the juice from cooking the meatballs. I should note that although this is her grandmother's recipe, she also made Bolognese with just mince and ketchup... The meatballs and sauce were great though!

A good alternative would be using a couple of tea spoons of bisto pepper sauce ( I get it in a tub from Tesco) make it with boiling water thick then thin it down a bit using double cream , it's a very good substitute with no more work
