Taking a birthday cake to McDonalds

I wonder if any of you know if we can do this please?

DS is taking 5 friends to the cinema for his birthday and McDonald’s after. It’s not a full party with it being only 6 of them, so don’t want to book a formal party deal there. We just want to get some happy meals, then cut the cake and put it in their bags after singing happy birthday.

Anyone done this? I don’t want to ring and ask them in case they say we have to book a party, meaning we can’t just do it on the day

I've seen people do that in there. Didn't seem to be an issue

Thanks. I was hoping that in the noise and chaos nobody would notice us with a cake and we could just get away with it. It’s just nice to be reassured that people have done it without bother!
