Early (First) Pregnancy. What danger signs should I look out for?

Hi all!
So my partner and I found out we’re expecting our first child a few days ago. We’re over the moon, but Completely taken by surprise (we both thought we’d have issues conceiving as we’re both overweight, but here we are).
I have no idea what to expect. I’ve already got the tender breasts and mild cramping, but I also have absolutely no idea what danger signs I should be looking out for.
I’m only around 6 weeks, so very early, and I have my first midwife appointment is next week.
What issues should I look out for? I’m so worried something is going to go wrong.

Tia!

The only "danger sign" is likely to be bleeding / cramping which can herald a miscarriage. But if you are healthy and there is no bleeding, I'd just crack on and enjoy your pregnancy.

I was overweight when I had my children, and had no problems. It isn't inevitable that you'll have issues , so just strap yourself in and enjoy the ride.

I wouldn’t look for danger signs as you’ll find them everywhere; the only real one is bleeding and I bled early in my pregnancy and am now 37 weeks so that doesn’t even necessarily mean anything. Just look after yourself and follow what your body is telling you so if you’re tired find time to rest etc
