My manager’s go to is “to cut a long story short”. Cue a really long boring story with unnecessary detail.

Currently it’s ‘suck it up buttercup’ Can you tell I work with a load of entitled millennials and also have a teenager!!

I hate when folk refer to a conversation where someone "turned around and said" or "at the end of the day".

Pressed too soon. My favourite go to is "we'll just have to agree to disagree" or "that will be that then". Gets me out of most things.
