I just want to go home to my babies.SadSadSad

Has anyone else been in hospital with pneumonia? How long were you in? They suspect I had the worst last week (I was sent home with antibiotics for a chest infection) but wanted me to stay in hospital because my breathing was very fast. Where they said it's pneumonia.

God I feel so sad and teary. I've never been away from home before.
I had home births so I didn't have to be in hospital.

I've got wires everywhere and I can't sleep Sad

@easythere you're more than welcome. When I first went into hospital, I morbidly realised that if I was to drop dead (I had sepsis) then I wanted DD to be used to others looking after her, and for them to be used to her ways - to know when naughtiness meant tiredness or hunger, and when she was just being a little bugger.

I do feel she has really gained by developing closer relationships with others. And as long as she is happy abd alive at the end of the day, it doesn't matter too much if they do things differently to me. It's also nectar to have a break sometimes.

Your eldest will have a whale/wail (?) of a time with her aunt today. And their bond will become stronger. Which is fab!

I hope you are feeling better, but please ask for help when you need it in future. If you don't, your kids won't learn how to either Flowers

@easythere thank you, I was discharged this morning. Still feel unwell but I’m so glad to be at home.

How are you feeling now?

easythere · 09/02/2020 19:46

@Pinkbutterfly79 oh good I'm so glad you're home! I hope you start to feel better soon. Thanks

I'm on day 3 of the antibiotics today (doxycycline), I feel LOADS better.
I've got a really annoying dry cough but it's getting the stuff off my chest so I can't complain and this is the best I've felt in weeks.

They say it takes a while to get back to full health after pneumonia so I'm really trying to eat a bit more healthy than usual and drink more. This might have been the kick up the butt I needed to look after my self more.
