I'm on bed rest. What can I do to refresh how I look

I've just had surgery so I'm going to be mostly in bed/on the sofa for a fortnight.

Since I can't move much I thought I'd use this opportunity to do lots of face masks, hair treatments and general beautifying to try and "reset" while I can't do much. I never get the opportunity to do this because I'm pretty much in a cycle of sleep commute work commute housework sleep! I rarely get time to do things for myself.

Anyone got any tips for self care and looking after their appearance when they're benched?

Hand, nail and cuticle care. Cuticle oil, rich hand cream, cotton gloves to help it all sink in.

That's a good idea, I've never done the gloves.

I've got some olaplex to stick on my straw hair and I've got trilogy rosehip serum on my face, so I look like I've just finished an 8hr shift in a chippy right now.

Don't forget to be nice to your feet too, foot mask / treatment 'bags' ( I can't think of the proper name for them) fairly cheap in places like home bargains wilko etc . The tea tree ones are nice but God they are cold when you first put them on !
Don't walk around in the or you will end up on your arse not speaking from experience honestly Hmm

You are likely to be fed up after a bit so could you take the time to learn something ? Knitting, cross stitch or a new language
