How can I do DD a Stranger Things room but make it easily changeable when she loses interest?

DDs room is pink from her younger years and she hates it.

She loves stranger things and I want to redecorate her room whilst she is on a residential school trip soon.

However, I am well aware in a year she may no longer be interested in Eleven and the gang so I want to make it neutral with highlights.

I thought on her main wall I could make a massive canvas with floral wallpaper on and do the whole alphabet with lights thing.

But apart from that I'm stumped Confused

Also I don't know what colour to paint that will work inside the theme but also stand alone if she gets bored

Any ideas appreciated.

If you don't want to permanently change things, cut out the letters of the alphabet and stick them to the wall like this.

You can stick them with spray adhesive...make sure to cut them out like they look in this image or it won't look right. String fairy lights around them.

The other option is to buy as large a plain canvass as possible, and paper it with 80s floral wallpaper and then paint the letters on that and then string the lights to it.

Get her some posters.

Oh I missed that you'd thought to do a canvass! Regarding colour, I'd do a plain, warm grey and if you wanted to make it more atmospheric, you could play with the theme a bit by getting some vintage wallpaper and covering a few large canvasses with it and adding just partial alphabets to each one and then lights. So it's more spread through the whole room.

Like I said in my OP I'm doing the canvas albapbet thing with lights but need ideas beyond that. I have seen the show but can't remember much about it.

I might paint another canvass like an eggos box?

Lampshade like a demogorgon’s head?

www.primark.com/en/search

(Good job I checked the link works, because it doesn’t, but put stranger things in the search, and lots come up)

There’s a few stranger things bits in Primark at the moment. The blanket looks nice, and I’ve seen people use canvas tote bags like the ones they’re selling for £3, to make cushion covers. I don’t think it would be difficult.

Ebay is your friend! My niece is also a fan and I got her a bottle lamp (yes, I know MN hates them - but teenagers don't!), decals for her windows and I made three cushions for her bed by stitching up the neck, arm and body holes of different teeshirts. They went down a storm

About to say primark too. They had loads of stuff in. You could frame a t shirt or use a sweatshirt and turn it into a cushion etc
