Would phone up Cadburys and explain the word VARIETY

Bought a bag of Variety Pack Treat Size Cadbury Heroes last week (applause at only just opening the bag please).

There's no variety. It's 12 curly wurlies and 4 Chomps (blurgh).
They advertise Crunchies (oooh yes) and Fudge (I'll accept that when needing a sweet fix).

I want to phone Cadburys to complain. My teenager declares I am embarrassing and need to get over it.

Would you phone them?

definitely! If only because you might get a job lot as an apology!

billybagpuss · 04/02/2020 16:20

Don’t phone but email with a picture, you may get a a voucher for a replacement.

CuriousaboutSamphire · 04/02/2020 16:21

Yes. They have a machine that is supposed to do better than that.

What you have is the reject bag they sell in staff shops and outlet stores.

Tweet them a photo!

I too would write a friendly, but factual and to the point email about how disappointed you are and how cadburys are usually of a might higher standard etc. Ideally with a pic. Should at the very least get you a replacement bag!

DobbyTheHouseElk · 04/02/2020 16:26

I think I got one crunchie last time and the rest were chomps and buttons.

CoffeeRunner · 04/02/2020 16:27

Definitely tweet - with a sad face photo for good measure. Could you find a 4 year old to also pose for the photo - preferably one who can’t chew caramel & had been “looking forward to a Crunchie or a Fudge all week”?

Worth a shot. You might get a month’s supply Grin.

I'd suggest you go back a step and see if you can get them to understand the concept of 'chocolate' first.

It was Sainsburys.

A pic has been taken and will be emailed to them. I've told the teenager it needs addressing. I wanted a Crunchie. They no longer seem to sell treat size Crunchies. Its just so wrong.

It's the same with any sweet assortment. You get loads of yellows and greens and hardly any of the nice red/purple ones.

ReginaGeorgeous · 04/02/2020 17:07

Yabu. Chomps are the bollocks. Does anyone remember the limited edition orange Chomps?

But seriously yes tweet them a picture. I have a moody looking four year old you can borrow if you want to maximise your compo face photo potential.

Bezalelle · 04/02/2020 22:58

If I opened a pack and saw 12 curly wurlies, I'm not sure I could be held responsible for my actions.

Complain!

Literally my dream bag of chocolate.

I’m so very jealous of you, OP.
