How and why did your wedding go wrong? And can you look back and laugh now?

Just as the title says really! I'm intrigued to hear if you can look back and laugh/accept with begrudging realism if something "went wrong" at your wedding...and what is it that went wrong?

I'm just trying to settle my own wedding nerves and tell myself that things go wrong and there's nothing I can do about it!

There was a thunderstorm during the reception which knocked the power out. It was at desert stage so didn't affect the meal but because it was a dark winters day and poor natural light, we had several hours of darkness.

My granny had too much champagne, threw up on the maitre d' (claiming she had 'had a turn' - I'll say) and passed out for the night in the bridal suite.

Grin at the Granny! So now we can potentially look forward not only to the option of shocking debauchery as the mother of the bride / groom, but take this into our dotage!

DH’s gran and my mum, who’s disabled and has problems walking/moving, did some great (sober-ish!) dance moves to Prodigy at our wedding. Perhaps I should let go of my longstanding DJ grudge for that alone.
