Just got rid of cyst

Don't quite know how to write this but I know some feel quite, intrigued, by this kind of topic.

I had a cyst come up on my back last summer. Whilst I was at the doctors I asked him to just check it out. He said it was just a cyst and not worried.

Over the months the cyst has gotten bigger. The last few weeks it has grown to be painful. This even I looked at my back and the cyst was red around edges. I used a hot needle to try and pierce it, which I did and i couldn't feel the needle. It bleed a little.

Then I sat in the bath and the warmth must have drawn it to the surface because when I got out, I put some pressure on the cyst and all the grossness came out then it bled.

I can't tell you how much better I feel now!

Didn't you film it??!!!

ChocoChunk1 · 02/02/2020 22:08

Head over to Sporner's Corner. And check out Dr Pimple Popper on YouTube!

Did you get the sack out? If not it may come back

Vintagehearts · 02/02/2020 22:29

The sack? 😳

I was expecting a video. Very disappointed.

HullabalooToo · 02/02/2020 22:35

Yeah. Might be back. My husband popped mine (on my back too) but it was back a year later. Got minor surgery at docs. All good now.

Vintagehearts · 02/02/2020 22:45

Is it not just like a ling term spot? A sack? That sounds very... gross

PerpendicularVincent · 02/02/2020 22:45

If you don't remove the sac as well, it's likely to refill - I would ask your gp to remove it.

Shameful that you didn't film it

Vintagehearts · 02/02/2020 22:46

Film it? Do people really like watching this stuff?

Sarahlou252 · 02/02/2020 22:54

I had one on my head that was removed at the doctor's surgery under a local - he said very important to remove a cyst with its lining, and he showed me the 'sac' Google it!!

fantasmasgoria1 · 02/02/2020 23:05

Dr sandra Lee (Dr pimple popper) says always remove the sac as it will return otherwise. This is not something you can do yourself. Have a look on YouTube at Dr pp.

BercowsFlyingFlamingo · 02/02/2020 23:08

If it comes back, it's only polite to film it and post in sporner corner. Great detail thoughSmile

ilovesooty · 02/02/2020 23:15

I've got one on my back which seems to have popped. Booked in for minor surgery on 15th. Doctor seemed to be dying to get her hands on it. Sad

Getoffmylilo · 02/02/2020 23:19

`The sac is like a balloon - it's deflated after the cyst popped but if it's still there it can fill up again. Definitely film it if it comes back!

Vintagehearts · 02/02/2020 23:27

The relief after weeks of pressure in it is very nice. I hope the "sac" doesn't refill 😳

Gemma2019 · 02/02/2020 23:46

Yeah it'll be back, and to be honest you should probably have had a course of antibiotics as it sounded infected.

I had a big cyst removed from my back just before Christmas. My doctor's surgery holds a minor surgery clinic once a month and he cut it all out and stitched it up. It was bloody painful for weeks afterwards but I'm over the moon it has gone.

Gingernaut · 02/02/2020 23:53

The cyst is a little bubble of cells, like a balloon, which produce the contents of the cyst.

Emptying the cyst will not prevent it from refilling, if you don't take out the sac.

Don’t fuck around with things like that. You could get a serious infection. Go get it seen to properly. And film it next time!
