Why? Confused

You must have some sort of a drink problem if the Bacardi is on your chin. As in you're not doing it properly

ilovemydogandmrobama2 · 02/02/2020 19:03

Oh no - usually Aldi products are fine, Although one of the day creams made me itch so feel your pain.

nothingcanhurtmewithmyeyesshut · 02/02/2020 19:04

You're drinking wrong. It shouldn't be making it as far as the first chin!

FriedEggs1 · 02/02/2020 19:05

😂😂😂 I've had a right day and I know I shouldn't say it but this hot bath and happy Sprite has done the trick. I haven't had a drink for ages. It's only the right side for some reason 🤔

I have no idea about Aldi Bacardi. But some beer and some wine triggers a bit of allergic asthma for me (think that's fairly common for asthma sufferers) - and I would definitely describe an early asthma symptom as 'itching under my chin'.

(Itchy chin was one of the symptoms I first told the doctor I had many years ago and she diagnosed me straight away!)

FriedEggs1 · 02/02/2020 19:07

He's just felt it and said he can't see owt but anyway it blends in with the test of my beetroot face 😂 I'm on a promise tonight I think 😁

Yep, allergic to something in it. My dd gets an itchy chin when she starts getting wheezy from allergies.

FriedEggs1 · 02/02/2020 19:09

@Absolutepowercorrupts I haven't spilled a drop I'll have you know

Ooo yeah I've stopped drinking wine. It gets me tired and my feet go hot and I'm out for the count. I don't drink often at all but felt like one today

Wine used to make the tops of both arms go red

Did you have the Bacardi in the bath? When I eat an orange in the bath my buttocks get itchy.

FriedEggs1 · 02/02/2020 19:13

@Thebookswereherfriends oh hell. Mine's a bit lumpy but only in a shall area but it itches like crazy

OP posts:
FriedEggs1 · 02/02/2020 19:15

@FaFoutis yeah and I'm still in it now 😁 I've got a bloody lovely bath pillow off amazon and it's too nice to get out and face the world again 😁

OP posts:
FriedEggs1 · 02/02/2020 19:16

@FaFoutis an orange in the bath though?! What do you do with the pith?!

OP posts:
FriedEggs1 · 02/02/2020 19:17

@LtGreggs your chin is very clever

OP posts:
FriedEggs1 · 02/02/2020 19:19

@ilovemydogandmrobama2 oh God their day cream and the night ones made me have a red itchy rash. Never again! I bloody love Aldi though. Their fresh mince especially

OP posts:
FaFoutis · 02/02/2020 19:20

The pith sometimes goes into the water (but is not the cause of the itch). I only have one hand to eat the orange because I'm holding a book with the other one.
Bath pillow sounds nice. What I need are bath reading glasses, that don't steam up.

FriedEggs1 · 02/02/2020 19:21

@nothingcanhurtmewithmyeyesshut I'm good at drinking upside down

OP posts:
FriedEggs1 · 02/02/2020 19:23

@FaFoutis You're too bloody healthy! I didn't know there was such a thing. I just remove mine or else they'd slip down into the water 😕.

FaFoutis · 02/02/2020 19:27

To convert normal reading glasses into bath reading glasses: dip them in the water until they become the same temperature as the bath water. But it's a bore.
I usually have a baileys after the orange.

FriedEggs1 · 02/02/2020 19:31

@FaFoutis The Bailey's makes up for it I'm sure. God I love bath and a Bailey's. It's how I get through winter

This information has made all of the hours I waste reading Mumsnet worthwhile! Thank you!

Glad to be of service Dont.
