What to get for a fussy persons birthday?

My sisters birthday is coming up and I’m stuck for ideas. She’s very fussy in her taste and we are polar opposites.
She’s quite feminine in her taste, she reminds me of a luxury hotel in her taste.

What would you want if you were a mid 30’s woman?

How about a voucher for her favourite shop. Not very exciting I know but I'd love that.

Is it a special birthday? What's the budget? How about a fancy candle? People seem to be mad for them. Mani/pedi vouchers? Or if you're in London how about Secret spa gift card secretspa.co.uk/gift-card/

Fuck all

Not special but our mum died on her birthday a few years back so it’s a funny one.
I’m so stuck! A nice candle is a good shout. What could I get to go with it?

Candle? Soap? Hand or body cream? Perfume? Chocolates?

These are the sort of things I would associate with posh hotels!

To go with it - expensive nail varnish or lipstick, cashmere socks.

I would just ask her for a wishlist and buy exactly what she asks for.

Have to do that for SIL, others it's a polite thank you and a ' do you have the receipt' a few hours later

A voucher for a facial ?

AdoraBell · 02/02/2020 15:32

I second the wish list, or voucher if she has a favourite shop/department store.
