Massive Bruise and lump cant sit six days later

Fell down the stairs on saturday,left buttock hit stairs and I bounced down two steps !
After swearing loudly and picking myself up off the floor I had a lie down to catch my breath and within 10 mins I had a bump that was bigger than a tennis ball (no exaggeration) that you could literally see protruding through my clothes...
As expected I've developed a lovely deep purple bruise which covers 2/3 of my left bum cheek leaving only the actual lump bruise free .... What is starting to worry me is that 6 days later its getting more painful and warm to the touch plus I'm still unable to sit or lie on it - the lump is still there (has gone down a bit)
Can anyone offer any advice ?

Sounds like you've broken your coccyx to me........you definitely need to get looked at tho. You may be ok now as youre young but could do things to prevent issues later down the line.

ring 111 or go to minor injuries.
don't drive, get someone to take you.

I'd go and get it checked out as it's getting worse.

Could be a bone bruise. Definitely need it checked out!
