1st period after giving birth

My 1st is 6 so cant remember what it was like then and i think i was already back on the pill. After 2nd i bled for the full 6 weeks post partum, started my period yesterday 9 weeks PP. im bleeding through super tampons in just under 3 hours, im cramping and generally feel crappy. How much is too much blood?

My first period after my son was like this, I was told that's its fine unless you're passing clots bigger than a 50p piece.
