I went to a new hairdresser today, it was normal hairdresser/client chat and she did my hair well, I was really happy with the cut. I went to pay at the desk and as I handed her the money in my mind I was saying 'I love it,' but what actually came out my mouth was 'I love you.' it seemed like the whole salon went quiet and she looked at me and giggled. I quickly escaped!!
I'm sat here tonght still slightly mortified and just wondered what stories you can top this with. Need a laugh!!

I am so bad at this. I'm still.so embarrassed for 4.months ago my neighbour was talking to.me said his wife name and oh she told me about your doors. I miss heard him thought he said the nosy cow from down the road name and said very loudly how does she no. The poor guy was like we'll you must have told her. I then realised what I had done. Apologiesed. They are lovely neighbours bit I still feel so silly

I said ‘y for wanky’ instead of Yankee on the phone to car insurance company in front of whole office. Needless to say the lady I was on the phone to and the rest of the office burst out laughing!

I sent a message to hairdresser asking if they could fit my daughter in the week before Christmas. I meant to say "I know this is a long shot" however my autocorrect changed it to to "long shit". Thankfully the hairdresser found it funny. Me? I found it both mortifying and hilarious.
