He's selling his ( lovely ) and apparently haunted mirror in the local Facebook pages to me ... is he for real!? 😱

Even if you don't believe it's a good selling post 🤣 in the comments he's refusing to touch it to help move it out of his flat ...

That's a genius idea to offload some old shit

BillywilliamV · 30/01/2020 20:55

I’ve got three haunted pairs of Sloggie support pants, I was going to chuck him in the bin but ..

Frownette · 30/01/2020 21:01

It's pretty. Wonder how much it will sell for?

Shock Does he keep seeing a strange face in it? Shock

Wagsandclaws · 30/01/2020 23:47

He says in the listing that he sees himself but when he moves his reflection doesn't ( I think ).

It's certainly an inventive way of selling ... not sure I'd pay £250 though

You can buy loads of haunted stuff on eBay. I know this as we had a haunted CD player and we weren’t sure how to get rid of it. We nearly sold it but in the end (after much research on disposing of haunted items) took it to the tip. The top advice was to sell or pass on to someone who wanted a haunted item but I didn’t feel I could in good conscience inflict it on anyone else. I now have a new CD player which is fine. My mum gave me her spare though she was a bit Hmm when I told her it was because ours was haunted.

I’m only part tongue in cheek here! DH and DD2 were so freaked out by the thing they were desperate to find an acceptable way to dispose of it.

Mamagin · 31/01/2020 07:04

@musicposy why did you think it was haunted? Did it play music without a CD in it?

musicposy · 31/01/2020 16:35

It was a bit freaky - it did have a CD in it but it would often start randomly playing at weird moments. It would also find something on the cd that was in the middle or I’d never heard before. It would particularly find 1920s piano music. Sometimes CDs seemed to be in there that all of us swore we hadn’t used for years. It always used to sound as though someone was randomly playing the piano and it never was, it was the CD player started up. It never did it with modern songs.

My logical brain says it was probably just a loose connection but it was one of those things you had to be there to get how freaky it felt. Even DH got freaked out by it and wanted it gone, and he doesn’t do woo at all. We kind of joked that it was haunted, but kind of didn’t!

Wagsandclaws · 31/01/2020 17:10

That is quite freaky, was the CD player plugged in?

PulyaSochsup · 31/01/2020 19:59

Surely it’s a fireplace with mirrored glass in the back and a piece of would along the bottom 🧐
