So DP and I have decided to go from living together in a 3-bed to splitting our time between a 1 bed in the countryside and a 2-bed in the more urban area he needs to be for work.
Realistically, I'll spend more time in the countryside – it's basically my place – and he'll be more in town.
I've found a gorgeous little house with a garden, right to my tastes, and I'm very excited to move in.
But it's going to be my first time living 'alone', ever. No roommate, no partner, no dog...
What advice do you have to help me make the most of this new arrangement? Hacks, shortcuts, decadent luxuries, things to remember / think about?
Spare keys are going one to a neighbour and another in a hiding place... what else?
