So I know quite a few people who in conversation and they bring their age into it will say 'I'm 48 this year ' or dd will be 12 in December!! but it's bloody January and she's just had her 11th birthday so why not say she's 11!!!! Person who's 48 is not actually 48 until September!!
Neighbour I was talking to said well I'm old now I'm 50 I say oh brilliant how did you celebrate?! Neighbour replied well I am not actually 50 until October but same thing!!
I find this strange (again I'm being light hearted!!) but I am my current age right up until my actual birthday as are all my family if I'm asked their ages.
Why would anyone be jumping to the next number with their age??!
