I was vaguely aware of this before the ITV series appeared but it happened before I was born so this is from True Crime groups etc that I frequent.
It seems highly impossible from the facts ad also the tv series that Sheila Cafell killed herself and her family.
However, I know from my Mum's own experience of seeing it unfold that there was lots of criticism of Bamber for his outpouring of grief at his parents funeral. The police thought it odd as he has been so... orderly throughout the previous weeks.
Could it not be that someone was actually holding it together and then the funeral of the family they have an outpouring of grief?
I remember similar when Joanne Lees, whom I know personally, was criticised for wearing a cheeky monkey tshirt when they did the press conference about Peter Falconio and what had happened. The press immediately crtyicised her and said because of the "inappropriate" clothing and the fact she smiled that she must have had something to do with it.
Perhaps my view is really simplistic - afterall, they have all sorts of specialists who study the behaviour of people - such as Ian Huntley and Maxine Carr and their use of past tense when talking about Holly and Jessica.
I dunno... I suppose just throwing it out there.
WRT Jeremy Bamber, I am 99% convinced he was responsible but that 1% of me says that his reactions could have been seen as strange because afterall, he had never lost his whole family previously... Who knows how you would react and who is to say what is normal. However, the circumstancial evidence points wholly at him being responsible (The silencer and the fact his sister could not have shot herself with it on but it was then found in the cupboard after Sheila has shot herself twice...)
