What to do in Copenhagen on my own for a week

Have the opportunity to go to Copenhagen for a week alone, I’ve been twice before with a friend but this time I’m going alone.

Before 2 trips to CPH last year, I hadn’t left the country in 11y and have never gone anywhere alone so I’m not particularly used to exploring on my own but am up for an adventure!

Can anyone give me any idea on where to go or things to see?

TIA

Food on Paper Island, visit the meatpacking district for brunch and live music on a sunday morning, the workers museum, design museum, browse Illums Bolighus
Train out to the maritime museum. Coffee and watch the world go by at Nyhaven
Rent a bike and cycle round the city. Open air swim in the saltwater pool. Diesel house museum is quite interesting

Can you go on some day trips too? Helsingør is wonderful, especially the castle. It's attractions are included in the Copenhagen card. Louisiana is really cool too (and I don't really like art as such). I really want to go to Roskilde to see the Viking ships, but not managed it yet.

I love Copenhagen! National Museum, Design Museum, walking your the Little Mermaid, Tivoli were all highlights for me last time.

Botanics Gardens are beautiful.

Take the train over the bridge to Malmo. Not been myself but it looks amazing.

Aquarium?

I'd second a day trip to Malmo.

Definitely go to Malmo! Good shops and bars/cafes, plus you go over 'The Bridge' from the TV series! Only downside is needing to change currency although contactless more popular since I went.

Shop. Illums Bolighus for the amazing design and Georg Jensen for the mouthwatering jewellery and silverware. I'd investigate interesting days out, what about a train ride to Roskilde to the brilliant Viking Museum. Christiania is rather fun. And definitely sit in a cafe for a long time with a scandi crime book, good coffee and eat your body weight in Wienerbrod, real Danish pastry. Have a lovely trip!

I love wondering around Copenhagen. I’ve been a couple of times when my husband was working, so needed to spend time on my own sometimes.
It feels one of the most comfortable cities to be alone in. Good transport. Feels safe and easy to navigate. Everyone is incredibly helpful.
Agree re Malmo, Kronberg Castle was also a good trip. I did a bicycle ride to a fishing village called Drongo or Dorgo - small group, really pretty, easy cycling and met a few pleasant people. Then I just pottered and people watched. Plenty to see in the city itself.

Thank you so much!

I’m formulating a plan!

I was a bit daunted by going there alone this time and wondered how I’d fill the time but I think I’ll have plenty to do!
