What are these bumps on my lash line?

I popped into the optitions about a year ago and just asked what they were and she said blefiritus..

Im getting these little lumps more often now and they are itchy and uncomfortable, I wear Contact classes occasionally and they irritate my eye more when the lenses are In.
If I use my nail or a tool I can pop them like a white head and they will instantly disappear, either a bit of clear liquid will Come out or a tiny bit of white stuff (like a spot).
Once they are popped the discomfort goes away.

I've looked up blefiritus and it doesnt sound like what I have.

There will either be one or 2 or 4 in both or one eye lid
(my mother gets them Occasionally)

I also have blepharitis, I believe it is an infection of the follicles of the eyelashes. I was told to buy Blephasol liquid, used twice a day on cotton wool (I use cotton buds) to clean the lash area

It's blocked meibomian glands. You can put a warm compress on your eyelids to melt the blocked oil in the glands then massage eyelids gently to let it flow out. There's a heat compress I bought on Amazon you warm in the microwave then lie with it on till the oils melt. It usually occurs in combination with blepharitis which is inflammation of the eyelash follicles. You can buy a special cleansing solution or cream to clean your eyelashes daily to prevent it.

Yep, blocked meibomian glands, I suffer really badly with MGD(meibomian gland dysfunction) and associated blepharitis and get these weird blebs all the time-so satisfying getting them off ! I'm a dispensing optician so fortunately get to try all the new products and by far and away the best things are the eye bag, as mentioned by OP and the blephasol liquid. The blephasol is also excellent for removing eye makeup too 👀
