Does anyone feel that they have proof of life after death?

Because I do!

Would love to hear of any stories.

My Mum went to a Spiritual evening at a local church. She talked to a Medium (someone she's never met before), who gave her a direct message for me, by name. I have a very unusual name. Chances are most people have never met a person with my name!

The message she gave my Mum was about me leaving my then husband, and various things I would be doing. My Mum laughed it off, because at this point I had not told her of my plans to leave my husband or anything else that I was planning (move house etc).

Of course to me, the reading was entirely spot on, and there's no way this random Medium could have made this up, especially my name! The Medium said that she had someone with her, who wanted to pass the message on, and for me not to worry, everything would be okay.

Another time, me and my now DH were talking about his Mum, who had passed away a few weeks before. We said something slightly negative (she was a hard woman), and a heavy canvas flew off it's nail and crashed to the floor. This canvas is at least 2 inches thick, and was resting very safely on it's nail. Has never fallen off before, or since.

Anyone else?

You need to watch Derren Brown's 'Messiah'.

In 2010 a very good colleague of mine killed himself. He was called Simon.

In 2019 my two year old was playing with her soft toys and I said ‘what are you doing’ and she said ‘I playing toys with Simon’
I said.... erm who?

She said ‘my friend Simon’ and pointed to nothing.

Already freaked out (I’ve never mentioned him to her)
I asked ‘oh ok what’s Simon doing?’

She said her likes my toys but he’s got a sore neck’

Confused

So true - here's the link on youtube - watch it and then think again.

Not me, but a friend told me that her father appeared to her after he died and hugged her.
A cousin claimed the same about her grandmother, describing the encounter as "she was actually there".

I'd love to have an experience like that, mine are coincidences but I choose to read more into them.

For example, I after my mum died, I attached special meaning to a particular number, the number of a bus we used when I was little (I live hundreds of miles away from there now) .
The number turns up "unexpectedly", eg in membership numbers, at work, and once after an upsetting night on holiday, it was the room number in the hotel we stayed in the next night.
There's a couple of other tenuous things,
but they bring me comfort, no harm done.

@Kalim8 Your story about the number is a great example of confirmation bias.

Harmless, as you say. Unlike mediums who are just fraudulent.
