Sunday morning, what's everyone up to today?

I'm feeling productive today...music on, pots washed, yesterday's washing all away, ironing next. Then baking for the week - baked donuts I think for dd2 to decorate.

I need to print, read, and sign my new work contract later on.

Dd1 is busy practising for an audition later on; her friend's mum is driving them both & dd seems fine with that but I'm wondering if I should have gone.

Dd2 is probably talking at dd1 at lot right now; she was going to watch Descendants but has vanished upstairs .

Later we're off to Lidl for packed lunch stuff, and having a roast chicken for tea.

What about you? :)

Took the toddler to her swimming class, just heating a lasagne I made yesterday for lunch.

wendz86 · 26/01/2020 10:25

Done eldest DD's homework after much fighting against it.

Their dad is taking them to eldest's gymnastics and out for lunch. I might go to the gym if i can get the energy up.

Then I am taking youngest to a birthday party this afternoon.

Allyg1185 · 26/01/2020 10:26

I have been super busy. I have stripped all the beds and I'm in the middle of washing. Swept and mopped the kitchen floor, hovered and dusted the whole house, emptied the bins, cleaned out the budgies.

Got a dump run to do, Lidl for the weekly shop, put stuff in the attic. Then gym this afternoon when ds 8 is with his Gran. Showers/tea/packed lunches etc.

I'm tired just reading this lol

MrsPear · 26/01/2020 10:28

Morning all - well I need to get more productive Grin ironing, homework, cake and roast are on the list today plus a quick pop to Tesco whilst eldest is at football

louisethedisease · 26/01/2020 10:29

Going to see bad boys 3 then Indian meal out later on

CatyaPurella · 26/01/2020 10:31

Still in bed! Wink

Kim82 · 26/01/2020 10:38

Usual Sunday jobs of washing/ironing uniforms and work clothes, homework, etc. I was hoping to get out for a walk but it’s pouring down so that’s not going to happen. I might bake some cakes with the dc instead for something to do this afternoon.

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 26/01/2020 10:50

Heating and hot water still not working (hopefully only until Tuesday). It's 0° outside, 10°C in the kitchen - dinner - bathroom areas, a toasty 15° where I am next to NDN's electric heater. When DH returns from church, he'll take the heater to his office as he needs to work.
DD and DS share the other heater, hot water bottles and blankets.

So only DD and DH will do any work, DS and I will only keep warm.

trinity0097 · 26/01/2020 10:52

Off to the dentist in a few minutes, then a couple of hours work, before a chilled afternoon

Twigletgirl27 · 26/01/2020 12:20

Only me and DH here, started morning off with bacon sandwich in bed with newspapers and lots of tea. Pretty wet here so morning in house and did ironing. Going to have a session on treadmill this afternoon then it's time to pull out my suitcase and start a bit of packing as off to Tenerife next weekend, yay!☀️☀️ then off for a meal with friends this evening x

tiredtrumpet · 26/01/2020 12:29

I love these threads for some reason Grin

DH has taken the toddler to his mums, I have thrown a chicken in the slow cooker with some carrots for later, peeled and par boiled spuds for roasties.
Currently sitting watching Netflix with a sleeping baby on me.
Later on we are all going out to a local farm shop type place for ice cream. Then I have some home admin to do.

OhWellThatsJustGreat · 26/01/2020 12:34

Got up at 8 with ds, we had crumpets for breakfast and then a nap at half 10, I tidied the kitchen while he napped.
He's watching hey duggie and I'm laying on the sofa having 20 minutes of phone time before he gets bored and we'll go for a walk.
DH has just got out of bed as he has the flu, so probably will have a shower and go back to bed.

I need to make lunch for work tomorrow, but I suspect he may stay home again.

Pipandmum · 26/01/2020 12:36

Answered thos on another thread but day has moved on so I'm now colouring my hair and after that Tesco man due. Then domestic chores - clean up kitchen, laundry....
Sons at work and daughter just appeared and getting herself toast - we don't do Sunday lunch anymore.
Later I'll light the fire we'll watch a movie, though she has to finish a book for GCSE so thinking my daughter will be busy doing that.

TheFaerieQueene · 26/01/2020 12:37

I’m cooking Yotam Ottolenghi’s Imam Bayildi. It’s a tad time consuming but worth it in the end.

Nonstopbuttmachine · 26/01/2020 12:52

I love these threads too @tiredtrumpet Grin

I've been for a lovely long walk in the sun, picked up an Indian cookery book from a car boot sale (for the princely sum of 20c) and some ingredients to make a curry later. Now airing my house Wink hanging the washing out and looking forward to the FA Cup games later.

COME ON LIVERPOOL!!

Fedupwithmyhouse · 26/01/2020 12:53

Chilling, still in pjs!

Have done some of the ironing for the week and just made soup for lunch.

PH30B3 · 26/01/2020 13:01

I had so many good intentions of not sitting around in my Pjs all day... Then it started raining and were continuing our chill out today!

rottiemum88 · 26/01/2020 13:04

Achieved very little so far today! Up at 8 with DS, did his breakfast then sat for a couple of hours while he played with his toys. Nap at 11, but he's going through a phase of waking of left so I've stayed with him and done some reading. When he wakes up we'll do lunch and then heading over to my mums for a couple of hours so she can see him. This evening will be a mad rush to get everything ready for tomorrow as DH is in London for a course which means my week will be even more manic than usual with nursery drop offs AND pick ups to do. I'm tired just thinking about it all 😩

needanewnamechange · 26/01/2020 13:07

Sunday is my favourite day of the week especially this time of year .
I usually run Sunday morning come hone shower eat sort washing / ironing , make a nice Sunday dinner with pudding. then this evening dc in the bath and the midwives are on .
Today no different I've chilled some wine for this evening and currently watching a bit of the football. Im going to make some soup for lunches this week and do some ironing next . Eldest dc wants a lift to work later but may persuade dh to take her , I really don't want to leave the house again .

Ikora · 26/01/2020 13:27

I packed up two bento style boxes of food as I have a lot of leftovers from cooking for Chinese New Year to drop off to friends at their workplace. They were delighted and I made sure to garnish and present as well as possible. DS and I have been watching tv, poor DH has a deadline and been working since 9am. He is about to take a break for a couple of hours and watch tv with us in about 30 mins. We were going to go for a walk but I have done my morning 2 miles and it’s pouring with rain now. Heated up leftovers for dinner, I cooked about 8 dishes yesterday.
