Does anyone believe the 10 year old got the 13 year old pregnant?

There's been cases of 11 year old fathers.

I suppose there might be a slim chance, since there are always outliers when it comes to average ages of puberty, but it seems unlikely.

The fact he is agreeing to it makes me wonder if he too is being coerced in someway? Maybe to cover up for an adult relative or something?

Tanner stage 4 I think for sperm production. Fairly unlikely at 10.

I'm sure I read that they tested to see if he was producing sperm, and he wasn't, so highly doubt he can be the father.

That's a pretty distasteful write up. They're repeating the allegations made about the 13 year old when, at the end of the day, there are two sexually abused children involved in this.

A DNA test will solve it one way or the other. That and counselling for both - which I doubt will be forthcoming.

Odds are that there's a deeply unpleasant older male somewhere hoping that they will get away scot free, though.

The reporting of her is disturbing she is basically being called a slut and a bad child her mom us dying of cancer who wouldn't react badly

Such a sad story, very unlikely the father is the 10 year old, quite likely it was one of the other boys she was sleeping with. Can’t imagine what kind of life this 13 year old must have for her to be sleeping with several people at the age of 13 .

They already seem to be paving the way to excuse predatory older man by insinuating shes trouble and sleeps around.

If a different truth comes out they have made sure they think she deserves it

It's not even a vague possibility if he isn't producing viable sperm. She's been told to stick to this story,or else - ie classic abuse.
DNA will sort paternity pretty quickly.

There's so many things wrong with this. Firstly, a 10 year old should not know what to do when it comes to sexual activities. At this age, they are only just learning where babies come from!

Secondly, a 13 year old girl being described as trouble and possibly sleeping around?? Erm, she is 13! She would have had to have learnt this behaviour from somewhere. She didn't just wake up at 12/13 years old and say to herself 'I really feel like having sex'. She's been taught to be sexually active obviously. I very much doubt the 10 year old boy pushed her into it given that he probably doesn't even have a sex drive yet so someone older, probably an adult, has a hand in all of this

I suppose all things are possible; but it seems fairly unlikely to me. Like pp, I suspect that older abusers are using the child as a scapegoat. There was a case a few years ago when a 13-year-old was named as a baby's father, but it turned out to be an older, though still underage, boy. DNA tests will ultimately tell. There have been 11- and 12-year-old fathers recorded, but I don't think any as young as 10, at least since there have been reliable ways of confirming paternity.

It can’t be if he’s been tested and proved not to be able to produce adult sperm. I don’t see any photos of him.

I remember that article, and the boy looked like a boy who hadn't reached a time when he'd be producing sperm, and it turned out he wasn't. I didn't know about the rape though.

It seems many of these kinds of stories have rather dismal realities.

A boy in my class got a 16 girl pregnant when i was at school, he had just had his 11th birthday, the baby was born before he was the Father was 12. This was 40 years ago

I was saying to DH Yesterday that I was very suspicious about this. I hope that she hasn’t been abused by someone as I certainly don’t think that the 10 year old kid is the dad. He looks more like 8 FGS!
