I'm bored and I have a new phone. What apps do I really, really need?

@AlCalavicci thanks! Can’t find bookworm, is it on both android and Apple and can you confirm the name of the scanner? Thanks

If you eat out in groups, Tip Calculator is useful, it calculates the amount everyone should pay as an even split plus the tip they should put in. I'm fine at calculations normally but my brain just won't work when confronted with a restaurant bill.

AlCalavicci · 24/01/2020 17:07

Sorry the bookworm game is now called word wow , it's on android, not sure about Apple .
The scanning app is called Clearscanner.
It's available on android and I think on IPhones.

AlCalavicci · 24/01/2020 17:11

This is the clear scanner app .
It's free to install and use

Good Lord how did I forget , BBC sounds app too. If I'm not on Spotify I am on sounds

PenguinsOnParade · 24/01/2020 17:19

You can scan documents via the notes section in an iPhone without needing another app. Don't know about other phones.

I'm really boring tbh, I use FB, Twitter, MN and a killer sudoku app the most. The Organised Mum Method app is good for tidying as we have it on everyone's phones logged in on the same account so they can check what needs done without me nagging (as much.)

SleepwalkingThroughLife · 24/01/2020 17:19

I'm in the market for some new apps too.

CatFaceCats · 24/01/2020 17:21

Kindle, Alexa, tasty, Fishdom

flipperdoda · 24/01/2020 17:27

Trello, Monzo, Whatsapp

Nice and boring Grin

BonnesVacances · 24/01/2020 18:10

My top 3 most used apps are Word Stacks (am addicted), twitter and Waze.

ComeBackPeterComeBackPaul · 25/01/2020 07:29

I know I am a bit of a techno numpty but I don't understand the difference between scanning something on my phone and simply taking a photo with my phone camera and forwarding it!
Am off to investigate Trello, Word Stack and the organised mum one.........

TimeForAParty · 25/01/2020 08:37

Two Dots is a very simple and highly annoying game. Good for killing time at the bus stop!

Pascha · 25/01/2020 08:41

I like Nonagrams and Flow to play but my favourite app is RBDigital to read magazines and periodicals.

Anxious1013 · 25/01/2020 09:00

RingGo the parking app.
The HMRC app.
The ASDA app.
