Cornish holiday park reccomedations?

Posting here for traffic :)

Can anyone recommend a caravan park in Cornwall (anywhere). Close to a beach and with a pool (doesn't have to be anything fancy). Not looking for anything too pricey ideally (summer hols) as long as it's clean and has some things to do close by.

We've never been to Cornwall before.

Also open to the idea of a "posh" tent with beds/cooker etc like you can get at eurocamp if anyone knows of something like that.

The caravan park by Pentewan Sands is the nicest one I've seen. Right on the beach, close to the lost gardens of heligan, Mevagissey, Eden project etc.

Hendra Holiday Park, near Newquay. Is a few minutes drive to the town and beaches. Is wonderful.

For many years I've been returning to St Ives holiday park (was Haven, now John Fowler)
Ok, the beaches are 10 mins drive (think Carbis Bay/Hayle) but they have a pool and family club (if you have kids)

We use Perran Sands Haven park at Perranporth, beach is fantastic.

I've never stayed in a Eurotent but they have some at Trevornick which is a couple of miles from Newquay.

I was coming on to say Hendra. It's really nice. Whatever you do, DON'T go to Michaelstow Manor. It is one of the few times in my life where I have not found a single redeeming feature about the holiday. If we hadn't been stuck down there (car broke down on M5 on way there, my dad drove us there and picked us up at the end of the week) we would have come home.

Trevella near Crantock beach - small, independent park, was lovely and so friendly

We did Looe Bay last year - Parkdean - park was great but not really walkable to the beach (we did but it was uphill back and quite a struggle!)

Brother did Perran Sands and rated it.

For all parks, we've hired private caravans rather than park ones. In my experience, they tend to be better maintained and a bit cheaper. We use www.ukcaravans4hire.com/ to search for a van once we've narrowed down our preferred park
