What style of eternity ring?

We’re celebrating our 10 wedding anniversary in the summer and getter eternity rings. I have a emerald cut diamond with a thin band and thin wedding ring, both in platinum.

If you have a emerald cut engagement ring + eternity ring would you mind showing me please?

I’ve tried a few a few with brilliant cut ones they seems to clash a bit!

My real ring is getting repaired but this £20 one is an emerald cut. The band is just round brilliant diamonds.

My engagement isn’t as big as yours so I think it could be overpowered by the eternity ring

Personally I would wear an eternity ring on the other hand if the diamond in your engagement ring is sizable. I think more than 2 rings on any finger are hard to pull off and don't show the stones to their best.

Maybe a dainty baguette/emerald band? If you’re going to get sth chunkier, then I’d probably wear it on the other hand.

Tbh, my real ring is a different cut and style. I don’t love the look of a round brilliant band with an emerald cut ring.

Shame. That's a lovely ring but I don't think it will be easy to wear an eternity ring with without leaving a gap or creating an overlap. I have a narrow platinum band and a vintage diamond ring together. I tried eternity rings with it but landed up with it on the right hand instead. I suppose the only alternative would be to wear your wedding ring in the middle to give the stones some space. That might work.

I didn’t think about eternity rings when I picked my engagement ring and wish I did.

I definitely can’t wear in on the other hand, I wear a really big cluster ring on that hand, I’d post a pin but it’s bespoke and very outting!

I’d go for one the same width and style as your existing rings with a chanel set row of diamonds.

Can I very gently suggest you get the bands on your current rings made bigger at the same time?

Your engagement ring is lovely. But it's a tricky shape.

I've tried eternity rings with mine too and they never look right.

Baguettes trap dirt and don’t give off much show so I wouldnt bother with baguettes.

Go try on some different bands to sit with your existing. I’d be tempted to go for one with some negative space in the middle to allow your other rings to sit comfortably

Unless you have beautiful hands, I think three rings on one finger is a bit much.

If you really want to wear all three on the same finger, maybe a channel setting would work? You would be able to wear another slim band.
I've just had a browse on www.diamond-heaven.co.uk. There are some lovely slim band (2, 2.5 & 3mm) eternity rings in platinum. They have shops around the UK, including Hatton Garden, London.

My engagement ring is princess cut, but my eternity ring is small emerald cut diamonds. The stone on my engagement ring sits quite high up so there's room for my eternity ring next to it.

That scatter ring is quite a funky design! Might sit slightly oddly next to the existing rings as the shape is irregular.

It looks like you could get a slim band of diamond under your engagement ring stone? All depends on how blingy you want it I guess.

My wedding ring is shaped to fit around my engagement ring, with the plan to have an eternity ring shaped the same, just slightly wider (with bigger stones). Could you do something similar?

My eternity ring was given to my grandmother, by my grandfather, on her 21 birthday.
It is the first ring on my finger (nearest my wrist), with my wedding ring ontop, and finally my engagement ring.

Eternity ring is a bit like this with a si liar wedding ring go you, and my engagement ring a square cut, but rotated compared to yours.

I decided an eternity ring wasn’t for me for this reason, got a watch instead.

Also be careful, if your other rings are platinum I wouldn’t get a white gold eternity ring... the platinum will eventually scratch the white gold off needing it be be replated (not sure of the technical terms).
