How to deal with anxiety that is making me feel sick.

Specifically it’s because I have been on some dates with someone I really like, and the days during which I don’t know if there is going to be another date are really hard. I don’t want to feel like this but I do - a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach that I can’t get rid of.

What can I do to make it go away Confused. It’s horrible and also debilitating.

Just bumping in case anyone has dealt with anxiety that feels like this, and has any tips.

Have you tried things like mindfulness? Or Kalms?

No - mindfulness scares in in that the issues at hand will seem even worse if I don’t distract myself with other stuff.

I haven’t tried Kalms. Would they help?

Is it the not knowing op? Do you feel better when a date is actually arranged?

Anxious1013 · 22/01/2020 10:35

Yes it’s the not knowing and yes I feel much better. I feel normal then and as if I can go about my day getting stuff done. At the moment I am trying to get stuff done while feeling sick Confused.

Oh you poor thing. I've suffered with this to some degree for years and it can be really debilitating.
