Where can I go in August on my own.

I now have both DH and children away in August. Unfortunately as I work in a school it’s my long holiday. Friends are either broke or already have stuff booked.

Any ideas what I can do to make the most of the freedom? Travelled lots on my own and not convinced it will be fun as it’s not really my choice.

Budget less of an issue than not feeling I’ve wasted my time time off.

I recently went to Norway with a company called Much Better Adventures. Was ace. There are quite a few similar companies depending on your budget..

spa break? this looks lovely in Cyprus but if you would prefer to stay in the UK then maybe something like this?

North Devon coast- alway my first choice.

As much as I love the U.K. I’m already in a lovely bit.
My DH will be away in Japan and my DS on a school trip to Madagascar. No offence but Devon is not an option!

Spa break might be good. I could look ravishing when I return.
