What to feed 11 year boy who has been sick but feels fine

DS, aged 11, has been sick - once on Saturday night, and one last night (never ever been sick before). He feels absolutely fine now but is at home off school due to 48 hr rule.
I don't think he has food poisoning as he's not in pain, but not sure what to feed him for lunch and dinner.
Any tips on what to have or to avoid would be useful!

Whatever he fancies, little and often. Feel better soon Flowers

Things that aren’t too dreadful coming back up, just in case. Toast and marmite, tomato soup

Look up BRAT foods for after vomiting. Bananas Rice Apples Toast. Hope he’s okay.

Stay off dairy and high fats like cheese.
Toast & marmite
Beans on toast
Tomato soup and toast fingers
Pitta bread, ham and houmous
Flat full sugar coke/lemonade or full sugar lucozades
Tea (with some sugar in) and digestives to dunk!

Most of the things on that list above I avoid after being sick. Ham and houmous 🤢

What does he fancy OP? Give him that!

Plain bland carbs. Toast is good. Maybe a bit of soup later. Avoid dairy for a couple of days.

AudacityOfHope · 21/01/2020 14:39

Toast would be my go-to.

My kids had a bug like this once: fine all day but sick around midnight three nights in a row.

Thanks everyone. I ended up giving him toast with a small amount of spread on. What he actually wanted included fish!
It is strange though to be sick one night and then only be sick 2 nights later.
